When two frozen hearts collide...

Emma Reed closed her heart to love years ago after a lifetime spent getting kicked around foster homes and bad relationships. Now she's on a mission to prove she deserves her recent award to paint a mural for a research base in Antarctica. Nothing and no one is going to get in her way.

After months working in recovery zones around the world, Hunter Wilson planned to escape everything this holiday season by rebuilding a lab at the Kiwi Research Base. Alone. No to family, no to fun. It’s isolation not intimacy he’s aching for. But when he sees the determined artist, that ache becomes an urge – after all, shouldn’t someone show her what two people can do with twenty-four hours of brilliant sunlight?

In the coldest place on earth, even the most frozen hearts can melt.

What reviewers are saying...

Melt is a great holiday read that is perfect for readers during this cold, holiday season (for those of us in the northern hemisphere at any rate). I found Melt to be a cute and charming romance. The exotic setting rocked, and I felt as if I was l learning something about life in Antarctica (i.e. about all of the condoms that are shipped down there suggesting that there is quite a night life)... Take a journey down and give “Melt” a try. It will put a smile on your face and give you an intriguing glimpse into life near the South Pole.
Romance Novel News

I really like the fact that even though there was not a lot of smexin' in MELT, there was a lot of sexual tension between Hunter and Emma, there were several moments when he would simply touch her or look at her that made me catch my breath. Emma is strong, funny and not scared to go after what she wants. Hunter is a super sexy Alpha, the kind of hero you fall in love with instantly. He is flirty, silly, caring and has emotional baggage. If I wouldn't have fallen in love with Hunter at the beginning of the book, I would have during the Christmas scene. ...MELT is a delightful read. If you like fun, emotional, sexy reads, do not pass on reading MELT.
Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

...the flirting is fresh and full of double entendre at every turn. And while Emma fights it almost every step of the way, they become friends long before they eventually become lovers. Both characters were multi-dimensional, both dealing with past hurts and betrayals. Both taking the opportunity to learn there are no fairytales, sometimes you have to work for something you truly want... a great look into life on the bases of Antarctica.
Night Owl Reviews

MELT is a story which has a strong conflict and sizzling sexual tension. The characters are smart and sharp-witted and match up perfectly... the hero is alpha yet he flirts and is a funny loveable character who is not serious all the time! It was a pleasure to meet Hunter and go with him on his journey to discover love. And Emma was witty and charming. This was a fun read and the ending was simply excellent!
